Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EMVARA™ (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website (theemvara.com). By using this site or submitting information through any of our forms, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who We Are
EMVARA™ is a coaching and personal development platform focused on identity recalibration and psychological alignment, founded by Sergio Canoa. This website is operated by CANOA LLC, a Florida limited liability company in the United States, which is the data controller responsible for your personal data. Because we offer our services to people in the European Union and the United Kingdom, we handle their personal data in line with the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at life@sergiocanoa.com.
2. What Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Personal identification information — name and email address, submitted voluntarily through our Tally intake forms.
- Booking information — your name, email address, and chosen time when you book a discovery call through Calendly. Calls take place on Zoom.
- Newsletter subscription — your email address, if you subscribe to Off Script or complete the 5-Minute Identity Check, collected and stored via Beehiiv.
- Enquiry information — responses you provide in discovery call or identity audit forms, including personal context and goals.
- Purchase information — if you buy a digital product from us (for example, The EMMA Reset™), your name, email address, and order details are processed by Gumroad.
- Usage data — aggregated website statistics such as pages visited, referring sources, and approximate location, collected via WordPress.com/Jetpack Stats.
We do not collect or store payment card details. Digital products sold directly by EMVARA™ are processed by Gumroad, and books are sold through third-party retailers such as Amazon. Each handles payment under its own privacy policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information you submit is used solely for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry or discovery call request
- To schedule, prepare for, and conduct coaching conversations
- To send the Off Script newsletter and related emails you have subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email)
- To deliver digital products you have purchased
- To improve the content and experience of this website
We process this information on the basis of your consent (newsletter), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract (enquiries, bookings, coaching, purchases), and our legitimate interest in operating and improving this website (usage statistics). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services & International Transfers
We are based in the United States, so if you are in the EU or UK, your personal data is transferred to and processed in the US. This website also uses the following third-party services, which may collect data independently. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

- Tally — form collection for discovery calls and the Identity Audit. Tally is based in Belgium and stores form data in the EU. Subject to Tally’s Privacy Policy.
- Calendly — scheduling of discovery calls. Subject to Calendly’s Privacy Policy.
- Zoom — video calls. Subject to Zoom’s Privacy Statement.
- Beehiiv — newsletter delivery and subscriber management for Off Script. Subject to Beehiiv’s Privacy Policy.
- Gumroad — checkout and delivery of digital products. Subject to Gumroad’s Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies
This website uses a small number of cookies set by WordPress.com and Jetpack for basic functionality, security, and aggregated site statistics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect your experience on the site.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Form submissions are retained in Tally’s systems, bookings in Calendly, newsletter subscriptions in Beehiiv, and purchase records in Gumroad, each subject to their own data retention policies. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us directly.
